How NYC in the 1960s and '70s Changed Contemporary Music

I chose to create a mix CD for my project compiling artists from NYC who were a large part of the music and art scene in the late 60's and early 70's and pairing each with a contemporary musician who was inspired by their style, sound, attitude, or influence. All of the photographs of the contemporary musicians were taken by me, and all the quotes are taken from short interviews I conducted with each musician.
